The Integrity Group of Osun State has declared its unwavering commitment to the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following a high-powered stakeholders’ meeting held at the party secretariat in Osogbo.
The meeting, which convened influential party figures, grassroots mobilizers, and loyal stakeholders, critically reviewed the political direction of the state and set in motion a decisive roadmap toward reclaiming Osun in the forthcoming governorship election. It was presided over by the State Chairman of the group, Ambassador Salam Mustapha Olamilekan.
In a bold show of unity, the group passed a resounding vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, applauding his Renewed Hope Agenda and far-reaching reforms aimed at stabilizing the economy and strengthening democratic governance. The group described his leadership as bold, reform-driven, and focused on long-term national prosperity despite prevailing challenges.
In the same vein, the group unanimously endorsed Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) as the only credible alternative for the August 15 governorship election, positioning him as the candidate best equipped to rescue Osun from its current drift. According to the stakeholders, AMBO represents competence, experience, and the decisive leadership required to restore effective governance and deliver tangible development across the state.
Deliberations centered on aggressive grassroots mobilization, strategic voter engagement, and the immediate activation of a statewide campaign structure to secure victory for the APC. Members expressed deep concern over the current administration in Osun, noting growing public dissatisfaction and a clear demand for a responsive and people-oriented government.
Consequently, the group resolved to deploy its full political structure across all local governments and wards to intensify voter sensitization, expand its support base, and reinforce party unity ahead of the polls.
The Integrity Group stressed that the moment demands urgency, discipline, and unity of purpose, calling on all APC members and supporters to remain steadfast in the collective mission to reclaim Osun State.
The motion for AMBO’s formal endorsement was moved by the Southwest Zonal Vice Chairman, Hon. Olusegun Omole Omo-Oshodi, and seconded by Mrs. Jimoh Shakira, Local Government Coordinator for Olohunda, with overwhelming support from stakeholders.
The group concluded with a strong appeal to the people of Osun State to embrace the APC’s progressive vision, expressing confidence that an AMBO-led administration will usher in a new era of accountable leadership, economic revival, and sustainable development.
