Osun APC Consoles Deputy State Youth Leader Ibrahim Over Dad’s Death

 

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has consoled a member of the State Working Committee(SWC) of the party, Mr. Ibrahim Wasiu Ayinde, the Oluomo of Opomulero-Aje, over the death of his father, Mr. Ibrahim Rauf Ajadi popularly known as Baba Abidjan Onipako.

It was learnt that Alhaji Ajadi of Aje Opomulero Compound, Ifon-Osun in Orolu Local Government Council Area of Osun State died of old age-related ailments at the age of 90 on Saturday, 22nd November, 2025 in his residence in Ifon-Osun.

According to the SWC member who is the APC Deputy State Youth Leader, the remains of his father had been interred in the deceased’s country home in Ifon-Osun on Sunday, 23rd November, 2025 according to Islamic rites.

He disclosed that the seventh day fidau for the deceased would hold on Saturday 29th November, 2025 at Dagbolu area, Ifon-Osun.

Pa Ibrahim is survived by his widow, many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In his tribute, the state chairman of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party’s spokesman, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, today, the demise of Pa Ibrahim is a collosal loss to his community, his family and his business associates.

Lawal described the deceased as a successful businessman who had made his mark in plank selling after he had relocated back to Nigeria after he had diligently worked as a watch repairer in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, for 40 years without blemish.

The state party chairman enjoined the children left behind by the deceased to jealously guide and protect the good name left behind by their father.

He prayed to Allah to grant the widow, children, relations and friends of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their patriarch.
