Hon. Ismail Sefiu Oluwasinaayomi (AKOGUN) has intensified grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election with an engagement meeting involving members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), the Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), and market women at Odo Ori Market in Iwo.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. AKOGUN urged the transport unions, traders, and residents to remain united and committed to the progressive ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by giving their overwhelming support to the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), at the polls.
He described Asiwaju Oyebamiji as a visionary leader with the experience, competence, and capacity to deliver purposeful governance, economic growth, and sustainable development across Osun State. According to him, the APC candidate possesses the qualities needed to consolidate progress and reposition the state for greater prosperity.
Hon. AKOGUN also emphasized the strategic role of transport workers and market women in grassroots politics, noting that their support and active participation remain vital to the success of the APC in the forthcoming election. He encouraged them to mobilize their members, families, friends, and neighbours to vote massively for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji come August 15th, 2026.
The engagement witnessed enthusiastic responses from the leadership and members of NURTW, RTEAN, and the market women, who reaffirmed their commitment to the APC and pledged to work tirelessly toward ensuring a resounding victory for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji in the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election.
