The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Hon. Eniade Francis Damilare, has received his nomination form from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), reaffirming his commitment to the victory of the party’s governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Eniade, who emerged victorious at the APC House of Representatives primary election held in May, described the development as another milestone in the electoral process and a renewed call to service, pledging to justify the confidence reposed in him by the party and the people of Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency.

The APC candidate expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of the party in Osun State, particularly the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and leader of the APC in the state, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, former Governor and elder statesman, Chief Bisi Akande, the State Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, members of the State Executive Committee, party elders, delegates and members for their unwavering support throughout the nomination process.

He also extended an olive branch to other aspirants who contested the party’s primary election, urging them and their supporters to put the contest behind them and unite in the overall interest of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Eniade stressed that the party’s immediate priority is to secure a decisive victory for its governorship candidate, AMBO, describing the election as one that would determine the future of Osun State and the continued dominance of progressive politics in the state.

He equally dismissed allegations of certificate forgery being circulated in some quarters, insisting that he had been subjected to all constitutional, legal and party screening processes and had been duly cleared by the relevant authorities.

His words, “I give all glory to Almighty God for this important milestone and sincerely appreciate our leaders for the confidence they have reposed in me. I am particularly grateful to our leader, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, Chief Bisi Akande, our State Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, our elders, delegates and every member of our great party whose support has brought us this far.

“I also wish to extend my hand of fellowship to my brothers who contested the primary election with me. The primary has come and gone. There is no victor and no vanquished within our progressive family. What should unite us now is our collective determination to ensure victory for our great party.

“I therefore call on all my co-contenders, their supporters and every APC member across Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency to close ranks and work together. Our focus must be on delivering overwhelming victory for our governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), and every APC candidate in the forthcoming elections.

“My commitment to the AMBO project remains total and unwavering. I believe he possesses the vision, competence and experience required to return Osun State to the path of sustainable development, inclusive governance and prosperity for all.

“I also wish to urge my supporters and members of the public to disregard the baseless allegations of certificate forgery being peddled by some desperate individuals. These claims are false, mischievous and politically motivated.

“I have successfully undergone all relevant screenings and verification exercises conducted by our great party and the Independent National Electoral Commission. Having been duly cleared to contest, I remain focused on engaging our people on issues that matter—quality representation, infrastructure development, youth empowerment and improved welfare. I urge everyone to remain calm, united and committed to the success of our party,” the aspiring lawmaker stated.
