Stop Your Campaign Of Calumny Against Tinubu’s Administration~Osun APC Blasts Adeleke

….Accuses Him Of Misinforming Public On LG Allocations

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has cautioned the inglorious and dwindling administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke to stop its campaign of calumny against the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration which has been striving successfully to improve the living conditions of the citizenry.

It is of no use for Governor Adeleke and his co-travellers to be denigrating the administration of Governor Tinubu which has been the bedrock of all the state governments in Nigeria through unusual jerking up of the federal allocations and all other sources of revenues for the states.

It is not an overstatement to observe and conclude that the Accord Party-led Governor Adeleke administration is guilty of gross misrepresentation of fact in order to misinform the people of the state to curry unmerited sympathy for the outgoing administration of the Accord Party-led Adeleke’s government.

It was disheartening that the state commissioner for education, Mr. Dipo Eluwole, could have the audacity to be stating on a radio programme monitored in Osogbo today, meant for periodic accountability of Governor Adeleke’s government, that the Federal Government has been withholding the federal allocations meant for the state when the contrary has been the case.

Is Eluwole living in the moon for him not to know and free his conscience to tell the people that there is no element of truth in anyone accusing the Federal Government of seizing the local government allocations meant for the state?

Why would it be impossible for the education commissioner and his cohorts not to have the knowledge of the fact that the reinstated local government APC chairmen are the beneficiaries of the 10th February, 2025 Court of Appeal judgement which granted all the prayers of the incumbent APC State executives who have been performing their constitutional duties in their various local government council areas?
Is Eluwole so forgetful that his party failed to explore the appeal opportunity of the Court of Appeal judgment which reinstated the APC local government council chairmen and councillors?

The Adeleke education commissioner also sadly stated during the supposed state accountability programme that the roofs of some of the buildings of the state Technical College in Osogbo were removed by the rainstorm that wreaked havoc in the state one week ago, with an appeal to some of the stakeholders in the state to come to the aid of the school.

Does Eluwole think that any one no matter his level of milk of human kindness would be handy to help the administration of Adeleke whose symbol of authority in the state strangely and unjustifiably spent over N600 million for the reconstruction of a Sango shrine in Ede, his town?

It was even a fallacy as pushed to the public during the radio programme that the Adeleke-led government stopped the feeding of the pupils of the public schools because of the purported issue they have been having with the local government allocations when the actual fact is that the incumbent government never operated the school feeding programme for more than three months.

The self-adulation of the state government as stated by the Adeleke education commissioner that Osun State has become an exemplary example among the comity of the other states in Nigeria is balderdash as there is nothing on ground to confirm this outright misinformation of the innocent people of the state.

The conditional promise of the Governor Adeleke administration that it would employ more teachers during his second term is an indication that the wobbled government is not employing any teacher again as its defeat during the forthcoming 15th August, 2026 governorship election is imminent when the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji(AMBO) will send Adeleke back to Ede.

Mr. Mayowa Adejoorin, the state commissioner for environment in his own case has a lot of explanation to make for stating during the programme that it is illegal for any one in the state to place his packaged waste at the median of the road. The question is, if such act is illegal, why is it that some of the government vehicles sometime collect the wastes from the median?

It is equally strange to hear from the Governor Adeleke Information Commissioner, Kolapo Alimi, that the state chapter of the APC has been behind the feud between Sally Tibbot and the government of Adeleke.

Alimi should look for other means of feeding his barrage of lies to the informed people of the state who are tired of listening to such untruth accusations from the Erin-Osun-born information commissioner.

It is however, pertinent to inquire from Alimi why it is pretty impossible for Governor Adeleke himself to be the chief host during such crucial accountability programme as the people want to hear directly from their governor and not a hoard of aides who may not have adequate answers to some of the questions from the governed.

The whole state accountability radio programme which was hooked on to all the radio stations in the state apart from being a wilful waste of the state resources was a ruse as there was nothing that could be pointed to that it has achieved.
