*Osun APC Congratulates Adereti On His Emergence As AMBO’s Running Mate*
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has warmly congratulated Engr. Benjamin Kayode Adereti on his emergence as the running mate to Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji(AMBO) ahead of the forthcoming Osun State governorship election scheduled for 15th August, 2026.
In an official statement made available to the public by the Osun APC Spokesman, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, today, the state party chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, described the emergence of Aare Adereti as a divine arrangement and a well-considered decision that will further strengthen the party’s chances in the forthcoming election.
According to the state part chairman, the choice of Adereti reflects the party’s commitment to merit, youth inclusion and the consolidation of progressive leadership across the state.
In Lawal’s words: “Aare (Engr.) Benjamin Kayode Adereti is a proud son of the ancient city of Ile‑Ife, a seasoned telecommunications expert and a vibrant youth leader whose influence resonates strongly among the promising young population of Osun State”.
The party leadership emphasized that Adereti’s experience, energy and grassroots connection will greatly complement the leadership capacity, administrative experience and the progressive vision of Asiwaju Oyebamiji, forming a formidable ticket that reflects competence, inclusiveness and generational balance.
The state APC chairman further noted that the Oyebamiji/Adereti ticket represents a renewed hope for the people of the state, assuring the citizenry that the party is committed to restoring effective governance, economic growth, youth empowerment and infrastructural development across all the parts of Osun State.
The party therefore, called on all its members, leaders, stakeholders and supporters across the state to unite and mobilize massively behind the party’s candidates as preparations intensify for the crucial governorship poll.
The statement expressed strong confidence that with AMBO as the governorship candidate and Engr. Adereti as his running mate, victory for the APC in the 2026 Osun State governorship election is certain, given the overwhelming support the party continues to enjoy among the people of the state.
Lawal reaffirmed the party ‘s commitment to democratic values, people-oriented leadership and the collective aspiration of returning the progressive governance back to Osun State.
