Prince Boye Adegoke has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the leadership of the party in Osun State for successfully conducting a peaceful, transparent, and credible gubernatorial primary election that has further reinforced the supremacy of internal democracy within the APC.
Prince Adegoke described the primary as a clear demonstration of the party’s organisational strength, discipline, and readiness to reclaim Osun State in 2026.
He stated unequivocally that the emergence of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji has altered the political equation in Osun State, noting that Oyebamiji possesses the experience, capacity, credibility, and grassroots appeal required to defeat Governor Ademola Adeleke at the polls.
According to Prince Adegoke, Asiwaju Oyebamiji’s leadership quality and proven record of service make him capable of defeating Governor Adeleke even on a relatively unknown platform, stressing that his popularity, competence, and acceptance among the people far outweigh the theatrics of propaganda-driven governance currently on display in the state.
He further noted that Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration has relied heavily on propaganda, media stunts, and superficial narratives, while critical sectors of governance continue to suffer neglect.
Prince Adegoke asserted that Osun people are politically conscious and can distinguish between noise and performance, adding that they are ready to rally behind a candidate with vision, depth, and sincerity of purpose.
He expressed strong confidence that with unity, discipline, and strategic mobilisation, the APC will record a resounding victory in 2026, bringing an end to what he described as an era of cosmetic governance in Osun State.
Prince Boye Adegoke urged all APC stakeholders, leaders, and supporters to close ranks, work tirelessly, and project the party’s message of competence and progressive governance to every corner of the state.
Signed:
Prince Boye Adegoke
