An APC Chieftain in Osun state and the chief executive officer, CITA ENERGY LTD, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe PhD, has been honoured by Osun state university, global affair and sustainable development institute an award of excellence in sustainable development stewardship and special recognition for his exceptional leadership and pioneering contributions to aviation fuel industry and sustainable development.
The award was conferred during the fifth international sustainable development dialogue, held at the Osun State University, Osogbo campus.
The organiser described the accolade as a celebration of Prince Ogungbangbe’s global sustainability, nation building, innovation and philanthropy that has profoundly impacted society.
His leadership was noted for not only accelerating development projects but also fostering community engagement and institutional reform.
The honour also acknowledged his outstanding performance as an industrialist and a politician who truly wants to serve his people for a better tomorrow.
The organiser further said his legacy as a trailblazer inspires future generations and physical transformation that has rekindled hope among residents and positioned the nation most especially Osun East on a progressive trajectory.
The award is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the masses and the enduring impact of his work on citizens.
The award was received on behalf of Prince Thomas Ogungbangbe by Hon. Sikiru Tijani, who was accompanied by several TOMPERRY loyalists across Osun East. The awardee appreciates the organiser for the opportunity and promises to continue to make an impact on human society.
The award was presented to him by the vice chancellor of Osun State University, Professor Clement Odunayo at the school hall with several notable personalities.
