The All Progressives Congress (APC), Osun State Chapter, has extended warm birthday wishes to three distinguished party leaders — Dr. Charles Diji Akinola, Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, and Engr. Abdulramoni Olalekan Badmus — describing them as pillars of progress and dedication within the party.
In a series of congratulatory messages signed by the State Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, and released through the Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, the party lauded the immense contributions of the celebrants to the advancement of the APC both within Osun and at the national level.
Dr. Charles Diji Akinola, Chairman of the Southwest Development Agenda, was celebrated for his visionary leadership, policy expertise, and unwavering commitment to regional development. Sooko Lawal praised Dr. Akinola as a “strategic thinker and passionate advocate for sustainable growth whose footprints in governance remain exemplary.”
“As you mark another year of purpose-driven life and impactful leadership, we join your family, friends, and well-wishers across the nation in celebrating your achievements and praying for continued grace, sound health, and fulfillment,” the statement read.
Similarly, the party celebrated the joint birthday anniversary of two prominent party stalwarts — Engr. Remi Omowaiye and Engr. Lekan Badmus — both former commissioners in the cabinet of immediate-past Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and now holding federal appointments.
Engr. Omowaiye, who hails from Ilesa and currently serves as the Executive Director (Implementation) at the Federal Housing Authority, was hailed as a unifying force in the party and a critical player in the party’s success story.
Engr. Badmus, an Osogbo indigene and Executive Director of Marine and Operations at the Nigerian Ports Authority, was described as a vibrant mobilizer and loyal leader who has remained committed to the party’s growth across the state.
“These two gentlemen have continued to deploy their talents and resources for the progress of the party. They are shining examples to the younger generation that loyalty, hard work, and commitment to service are the bedrock of success,” Lawal stated.
He added, “They are not only responsible leaders within the APC, but also loving husbands, caring fathers, and reliable mentors to many. On behalf of all party members in Osun, I pray that God grants them many more fruitful years and greater accomplishments.”
The Osun APC called on its members across the state to join in celebrating these outstanding leaders and to continue supporting them in their various capacities for the benefit of the party and Osun State.
