Hon. Ismail Sefiu Oluwasinaayomi AKOGUN has been honoured with an Award of Excellence in Loyalty and Service by the Office of National Grassroots Mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027, in recognition of his steadfast commitment, loyalty and outstanding contributions to grassroots mobilisation and political development.
The distinguished honour was presented to Akogun during the 9th Interfaith Prayer Summit, Book Launch and Award Presentation, held on Thursday, 10 September 2026, at Merit House, Maitama, FCT, Abuja.
The distinguished honour further underscores Akogun’s dedication to strengthening grassroots participation and supporting the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a further recognition of his leadership qualities and commitment to grassroots development, Hon. Ismail Sefiu Oluwasinaayomi AKOGUN was also appointed and unveiled as the Osun State Patron of the Association.
The appointment reflects the confidence reposed in his experience, organisational capacity and ability to mobilise and inspire people at the grassroots level across Osun State.
Receiving the honour, Akogun expressed his appreciation to the leadership of the organisation for the recognition and pledged to continue contributing meaningfully to grassroots mobilisation, unity and the collective pursuit of a better Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
