*Prince Thomas Ogungbangbe Rallies Osun East, Declares APC Poised to Reclaim Osun in 2026*
A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State and leading aspirant for the Osun East Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 General Election, Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, PhD, has reaffirmed that the enduring strength of the APC in Osun State is anchored on unity, loyalty, discipline, and shared collective purpose.
Prince Ogungbangbe stated that while the party may have experienced temporary setbacks, the APC remains solid, resilient, and firmly rooted in the aspirations of the people. According to him, the party possesses a clear, people-centered vision for the future of Osun State and remains the most credible political platform capable of rescuing the state from what he described as governance failures, economic missteps, and policy inconsistencies under the current administration.
He stressed that only a united and focused APC can restore purposeful leadership, economic stability, and transparent, people-oriented governance in Osun State.
In a statement signed and released by his media team, Prince Ogungbangbe called on party members, stakeholders, supporters, and well-meaning residents of Osun East Senatorial District and the state at large to rally solidly behind Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
He described Asiwaju Oyebamiji as a tested and trusted administrator, a disciplined leader of proven integrity, and a public servant with a deep understanding of governance, accountability, and developmental planning. The statement noted that AMBO’s wealth of experience in public service, combined with his humility, competence, and commitment to inclusive development, uniquely positions him to lead Osun State into a new era of growth, stability, and renewed hope.
Prince Ogungbangbe further urged the people of Osun State to rise above sentiments and narrow interests, and instead prioritize competence, character, and capacity in their political choices. He appealed to youths, elders, professionals, artisans, community leaders, and party faithful across the state to embrace unity within the APC and work collectively toward victory in 2026.
“This is a defining moment in the history of Osun State,” Prince Ogungbangbe declared. “Supporting Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji is not merely about party politics; it is about reclaiming hope, restoring confidence in governance, and securing a prosperous and sustainable future for our children and generations yet unborn.”
He expressed confidence that with unity of purpose and the support of the people, the APC will reclaim Osun State in 2026 and return it to the path of progressive governance and meaningful development.
