Omisore Hails Osun Integrity Group of Nigeria, Urges Sustained Grassroots Mobilisation
Former Deputy Governor of Osun State and one of the leading aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Otunba Dr. Christopher Iyiola Omisore, has lauded the Integrity Group of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, for its steadfast commitment to promoting unity, peace, and continuous mobilisation within the ranks of the party.
Dr. Omisore gave the commendation on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, while receiving members of the group, led by its Chairman, Comrade Salam Mustapha Olamilekan, at his Rescue Mission Office in Osogbo.
The former National Secretary of the APC praised the group’s consistency in strengthening party cohesion and expanding its grassroots presence across local government areas in the state. According to him, the group’s effort reflects genuine loyalty to the ideals of progressivism and the vision of the party’s founding fathers
I must commend the Osun Integrity Group for the maturity and focus with which you have been promoting peace, unity, and continuous mobilisation within the APC,” Omisore said. “Politics is local, and elections are won at the grassroots. You must sustain your engagement with the people, sensitise them, and ensure our message of progress reaches every ward and polling unit.”
Otunba Omisore, who described the group as a “strategic force within the APC family,” also emphasised the importance of collective discipline and internal unity as the state moves closer to future political contests.
In his remarks, the Southwest Zonal Vice Chairman of the group, Hon. Omole Olusegun (Omo Oshodi), appreciated Dr. Omisore for his fatherly role in mentoring young political leaders and for his consistent support of grassroots-based initiatives. He informed the former Deputy Governor about the group’s forthcoming Southwest Integrity Summit, scheduled to hold on Monday, November 17, 2025, in Osogbo, and extended an invitation to him to grace the event.
The group’s chairman, Comrade Salam Mustapha Olamilekan, also reaffirmed the commitment of the Osun State Chapter to the principles of unity, transparency, and progress. He noted that the group’s ongoing mobilisation across the state aims to strengthen the APC’s electoral base and consolidate its dominance in future elections.
Our focus remains on building a stronger APC in Osun through continuous engagement and grassroots sensitisation,” Comrade Salam stated. “We are determined to complement the leadership of our State Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, and ensure that every member of our great party feels included and motivated.
The visit ended on a cordial note with renewed assurances of collaboration between the Integrity Group of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, Dr. Omisore’s Rescue Mission Team, and other Osun APC Stakeholders, towards advancing the unity and electoral strength of the All Progressives Congress in the state.
