Oyetola at 71: Integrity Group of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter Hails Ex-Governor, Praises Leadership in Marine and Blue Economy
The Osun State Chapter of the Integrity Group of Nigeria has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the 71st birthday of the former Governor of Osun State and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency, Alhaji Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola.
In a statement signed by the State Chairman, Comrade Salam Mustapha, and released by the State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Ismail Alade Iwa, the group extolled Oyetola’s visionary leadership, describing him as “a leader whose life and service remain a beacon of inspiration to all committed to Nigeria’s progress.”
According to the statement, the group, comprising over 5,000 members in Osun, commended Oyetola’s achievements in repositioning Nigeria’s marine and blue economy, particularly in the areas of sustainable fishing practices, protection of marine resources, and the promotion of coastal development.
“Your passion for advancing Nigeria’s marine and blue economy has been truly inspiring. Under your watch, the nation has witnessed notable strides in safeguarding our waterways while unlocking new opportunities for economic growth,” the statement read.
The group further highlighted Oyetola’s role in forging partnerships that positively impact the livelihoods of Nigerians, his commitment to research and innovation, and his tireless pursuit of sustainable policies for future generations.
“As we celebrate your birthday, we are not only marking another year in your life but also acknowledging the enduring legacy of service, humility, and patriotism you represent,” the statement added.
The Osun Integrity Group prayed for Oyetola’s continued health, wisdom, and strength to sustain his leadership role, while reaffirming their solidarity and support for his contributions to both Osun State and Nigeria at large.
