2027: North East APC Endorses Tinubu/Shettima Ticket for  Presidential Election

the North East chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed the joint ticket of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for the 2027 presidential election.

The endorsement was unanimously declared on Sunday during the North East APC Consultative Meeting held in Gombe, the Gombe State capital. The event drew thousands of party faithful, leaders, and stakeholders from across the six states in the region.

Present at the high-level gathering were key political figures, including Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, and the host, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State. Also in attendance were the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Deputy National Chairman (North), Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori, among several others.

In his address, Governor Zulum praised the Tinubu/Shettima administration for what he described as “landmark achievements” within two years in office. He highlighted notable progress in critical sectors such as healthcare, education, youth and women empowerment, revenue generation, infrastructure, and the general wellbeing of Nigerians.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda has not only brought vision but also action and results. The people of the North East and Nigeria at large are beginning to feel the tangible impact of purposeful leadership,” Zulum said.

The forum reaffirmed its unflinching support for the APC-led federal government and emphasized that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket remains the best path forward for Nigeria’s continued unity, stability, and prosperity.

In a unified voice, the forum declared: “No Vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027.”

The endorsement from the North East APC comes amid growing support for the continuation of the Tinubu/Shettima mandate across various geopolitical zones, signaling an early momentum for the ruling party ahead of the 2027 polls.
