Babayemi Eulogises Oyetola @71
Omooba Dotun Babayemi, the most prominent governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress APC in Osun State, has rejoiced with the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, as he clocks 71 years of age.
Babayemi described the former Governor of the state as a good manager of men and resources whose ideas are always service-driven.
In his congratulatory message to Oyetola as released by his media office, the topmost contender for the gubernatorial ticket of the APC in the 2026 election, said the occasion called for appreciation to God.
“It’s gratifying that our leader, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola who is the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, is witnessing another gracious year. He deserves to be celebrated by all because he has impacted on many lives across Nigeria and mostly in Osun where he once governed, and currently leads our party, the APC”.
According to him, the contributions of the ex-Governor were large and unquantifiable; adding, “he has continued to touch lives in positive ways across the country and most especially in Osun”.
He noted that Oyetola’s political efforts alongside other leaders of APC in the State, forms the basis for an increased hope of members of the party in winning the next year’s gubernatorial election.
“His conscientious efforts in concert with other notable leaders in Osun, have made our people to believe more than ever before, that our great party, the APC, will lead all the way at the polls in 2026. In addition, this will as well ensure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu”, he asserted.
While joining others to felicitate with the Iragbiji-born politician renowned as a man of few words, he prayed that God would grant him more years that would be accompanied with good health and worthy contributions to the Nation.
“As a worthy community leader, a prominent leader in Osun and a National figure, we shall continue to support him with our prayers for him to succeed in his endeavors geared towards lifting humanity” Babayemi added.
