The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Clement Adesuyi Oyetola Hastrup, Ajimoko III, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, the State Chairman of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, described the Owa Obokun as a revered custodian of the rich tradition and cultural heritage of Ijesaland.
The APC chairman noted that Oba Hastrup has continued to demonstrate exemplary leadership through his wisdom, humility and dedication to the progress of Ijesaland and Osun State as a whole.
According to him, the monarch has remained a symbol of unity and stability for his people.
Lawal further emphasized the invaluable role traditional rulers play in fostering peace, promoting communal development and preserving cultural identity.
He lauded the Owa Obokun’s consistent support for initiatives that strengthen human capacity and societal growth.
In Lawal’s words: “On behalf of the APC family in Osun State, I am praying for the continued good health, wisdom, and prosperity of Oba Hastrup.
“May God continue to bless the royal father with many more years of fruitful service to his people and to grant him a long and peaceful reign on the throne of his forefathers”.
