Osun APC Mourns Dr. Akande Sulaiman, Condoles with Family

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State is in mourning following the sudden passing of Dr. Akande Sulaiman on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, in his hometown of Asamu, Olaoluwa Local Government.

In a heartfelt condolence message written by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, on behalf of the State Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, today, the APC described the late Dr. Akande as a dedicated political leader, a steadfast party member and a compassionate individual whose impact on the community and humanity will always be remembered.

“Dr. Akande Sulaiman’s departure is a monumental loss, not just for his family but for our party and the entire Iwo Federal Constituency.

“His wisdom, humility and commitment to serve others will leave a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire us all,” the statement expressed.

Lawal extended his heartfelt sympathies to Dr. Akande’s family, the APC family in Olaoluwa Local Government and the people of Iwo Federal Constituency.

He prayed that Almighty God grants Dr. Akande’s soul eternal peace, comforts his family and gives them the strength to cope with this irreparable loss.

The party also prayed that the deceased’s legacy of service, humility and love for humanity continues to shine brightly for those he has left behind.
