The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has joined the family members, political associates, friends, and well-wishers across the globe to celebrate Otunba Christopher Iyiola Omisore, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, today, the state chairman of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, described Otunba Omisore as an exceptional leader whose political career and contributions to the growth of democracy remain exemplary.
Lawal noted that Omisore, a former National Secretary of the APC, a two-term Senator who represented Osun East, former Osun Deputy Governor and a 2026 governorship hopeful, has distinguished himself as a seasoned administrator, astute politician, and strategist whose foresight continues to inspire the younger generation.
According to the Osun APC Chairman: “Omisore’s political virtue is rooted in courage, resilience, and an uncommon sense of responsibility.
“His track record reflects service that is people-oriented, result-driven, and guided by a deep passion for justice and equity.
Lawal emphasized that Omisore has consistently demonstrated loyalty, dedication, and strength of character in the pursuit of progressive ideals.
“His firm belief in democratic governance and his invaluable contributions towards stabilizing the APC at the state and the national levels remain indelible in the annals of political history”, Lawal submitted.
He further lauded Omisore as an illustrious son of Ile-Ife whose towering achievements and statesmanship have brought pride to Osun State.
Lawal observed that Omisore’s commitment to community development and his support for policies that uplift the people distinguish him as a true servant-leader.
While rejoicing with Otunba Omisore, the Osun APC chairman expressed delight in celebrating a political icon whose life reflects dedication to service, excellence in leadership and a relentless drive to strengthen the unity and growth of the progressive family.
