ADC Leaders Are ‘Politically Dislodged Politicians’, They Can’t Stop President Tinubu From Getting Re-elected In 2027-Shuaib Oyedoku
July 4, 2025
A veteran politician, Chief Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun on Friday described the people promoting ‘opposition alliance’ against President Bola Tinubu through the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as ‘Internally Dislodged Politicians’ asserting that their efforts will end in disarray.
Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun, a former Deputy National Chairman of PDP, who is now an APC big wig, also submitted that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, his former political soul mate, has experienced worsening ‘political misfortune’.
Alhaji Shuaib Oyedokun
‘I am emotionally disturbed at the way highly rated Alhaji Abubakar Atiku’s trend of political misfortune is now deteriorating. He is descending from being the landlord of a political mansion to a squatter while scurrying among strange bedfellows who are merely playing dogs in the manger and the gang up on President Bola Tinubu to settle a needless score’ he submitted.
Chief Shuaib Oyedokun in an interview with Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the ‘political vendetta’ of the ADC leaders is misplaced because it was borne out of ‘bad belle’ and jealousy.
He noted that with the attacks from different quarters aimed at distracting President Bola Tinubu from the good works he is doing, there is the need for Nigerians to disregard his adversaries and give the president the opportunity to spend eight years in office within which undoubtedly, the intrinsic and dividends of his renewed Hope agenda would have fully manifested.

The removal of petrol subsidy painful as it may have been at first has according to the nonagenarian politician brought tremendous relief to state governors in respect of their debts through unprecedented revenue allocations made available to them by the Federal Government.
Alhaji Oyedokun added that among other bold steps taken by the president include the four tax reform bills that have been signed into law which are bound to foster fair distribution of wealth, especially for low income earners who are largely exempted from various taxes .
He also commended the President for establishing Regional Development Commissions which, if well implemented, would give each zone the opportunity to grow and develop at its own pace, very much like the experience of governance in the old western and eastern regions.
‘His focus on youth development, coupled with prominence given to programmes on women empowerment through the office of the First Lady are commendably encouraging amid their long-term and lasting benefits.
This is why allowing President Tinubu to have a second term in office would serve as incentives to stability and promote development in every aspect’ he said.
Describing Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the architect of his own political misfortune, the APC chieftain recalled his days with the former Vice President in the PDP and pointed out that, by this new miscalculation, he may have been reacting impetuously over his self-inflicted loss in the 2023 Presidential election.
He argued that the former Vice President rode roughshod against popular decision that former Senator Ayu should step down as National Chairman of the party.

‘It was this miscalculation that spelt the doom of PDP and put an inglorious self-defeatist end to his own political career.
Against reasons and political commonsense, Atiku also abandoned party loyalists in favour of political mercenaries who are not accustomed to our winning culture and as birds of passage , they fled with their loot as soon as things turned sour at the end of the day.
Instead of Alhaji Atiku working towards rebuilding the house which his ambition had destroyed , he is acting like a confusionist , adding salt to injury by drawing away members from there into a coalition of misadventure’ he added.
Chief Oyedokun submitted that he was not impressed by the array of personalities in the opposition alliance, noting that they are merely playing to the gallery and that they are of no ‘political consequence’ with respect to the 2027 presidential election which he predicted would be won by the APC.
