The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO has felicitated Oluwo of Iwo, His Imperial Majesty Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1 on the occasion of his 58th birthday anniversary.
Oyebamiji described the first class monarch and paramount ruler of Iwoland as a pride of Yoruba race, symbol of African culture and traditional heritage whose stool had rejuvenated, rekindled and redefined core values that the race is known for, since ascension.
The NIWA Boss, in a statement personally signed and made available to pressmen, in Osogbo, eulogized Oluwo’s exceptional and outstanding leadership qualities that had earned him undiluted respect from his subjects as well as the ancient town geometric progresses, all round growth and development.
He particularly acknowledged the monarch’s high sense of innovation, modernity, creativity and exposure which he brought to bear3 in administering the affairs of his subjects in particular nodding him for striking balance between innovation and tradition.
Oyebamiji who described Oba Akanbi as “people’s monarch” that is loved by all, said his immense contributions to the advancement of his subjects and Iwoland cannot be quantified.
He prayed Almighty Allah to continue to imbue the quinquagenarian sound health, divine wisdom and intellect as he impacts more in humanity.

He is indeed an epitome of progressivism, creativity, modernity and innovation, his rare virtues that had culminated into the visible and invisible growth and development of Iwoland since ascension of his forefathers’ throne.
