On May 19, Omo-Oba Dotun Babayemi visited the APC State Secretariat to seek the consent of our party leaders before beginning his consultation across the Local Governments of Osun State regarding his aspiration to run for Governor on the platform of the APC.
Yesterday (Wednesday, 18th June 2025), he returned to the same Secretariat, this time to give a full report of that journey. It was important for him to show respect to the leadership that gave him their blessings, and to update them on the feedback, encouragement, and strong support we received from party members across the state.
The Local Government consultation phase was a success, and with the continued guidance of our leaders, coupled with the counsels we received from party members statewide, we move forward, stronger and more focused.
